La Prairie’s Spring Launches and Spa Pop-Up Will Drape Your Skin in Opulence

La Prairie is, for most skincare lovers, shorthand for luxury itself. Its products carry classically opulent names — caviar, cashmere, gold — and behind those names sits real research and genuine improvements in skin longevity. Byrdie’s Ali Webb had already tried, and loved, a few of the brand’s formulas before this spring. But there is, she found, a way to make the La Prairie experience even more lavish.
She recently travelled to Miami to experience the brand’s collaboration with the St. Regis Bal Harbour, a beachfront resort, where La Prairie has brought two new launches and a luxury spa pop-up. Facials and massages sit at the heart of it, and Webb says the products and the services genuinely enhance each other. If you are planning a rejuvenating getaway, or simply weighing an upgrade to your routine at home, read on — with insights from the resort’s spa director, Jessica Sanchez, along the way.
The Products
This spring, La Prairie has added two luxe new products to its lineup: the Cashmere Body Cream and the White Caviar Light Infusion Eye Serum. The first is the storied company’s first-ever dedicated body care product, while the second brings fresh innovation to brightening the delicate eye area.
Cashmere Body Cream
As you might expect, La Prairie’s new Cashmere Body Cream takes its cue from the fabric it is named for, turning all-over nourishment into a more decadent experience. The formula uses the brand’s exclusive cellular complex to support the skin’s natural repair processes, along with biomimetic peptides for stronger, softer skin. Its hydrating complex brings together hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and shea butter, so skin is nourished in several ways at once.
Sanchez, the St. Regis Bal Harbour’s spa director, calls it La Prairie’s first body care product, launched just in time for the partnership, and describes a texture that is nourishing yet lightweight — one that melts into skin with a cocooning feel, without the heaviness or residue a body cream can sometimes leave behind. Webb adds that the cream features in the pop-up’s body treatments, but she loves it just as much for simple at-home use after showering.

White Caviar Light Infusion Eye Serum
If you do not love a heavy eye cream but still want serious rejuvenation, La Prairie’s White Caviar Light Infusion Eye Serum may be exactly what you are looking for. While the brand’s other hero formulas are cream-based, this one is a light serum, so its powerful actives can penetrate while it targets dark circles in several ways at once. The oil-in-water formula works to reduce pigmentation, keep excess cellular melanin production in check, and address photoaging, and it pairs the exclusive cellular complex and caviar extract with Thiamidol to even out discoloration.
At home, beyond the St. Regis facial, Webb has worked the serum into her nightly routine, applying it together with reusable eye patches to help it sink in further. It feels lush and rich without ever becoming overwhelming, she says, and it has helped her look more refreshed through a busy spring. The effects are noticeable after a single use, but they only get better with consistency — which is why, she notes, Sanchez recommends it as a top product to consider investing in after a treatment.

The Spa Partnership
La Prairie and the St. Regis Bal Harbour both stand for the utmost luxury, so coming together for a set of pop-up spa treatments felt like a natural fit, Sanchez tells Webb. She describes elevated experiences that pair La Prairie’s innovative, high-performance formulas with a serene oceanside setting that feels like an escape, with every treatment tailored to the guest so the experience is truly their own.
The services take place in a chic, dedicated room filled with La Prairie products, and they are bookable through the spa’s website. There are four main treatment options:
La Prairie Signature Personalized Facial: available in 60- and 90-minute options, this starts with an in-depth skin analysis and a facial tailored to a guest’s skin concerns and needs. Depending on the guest, it can include anything from hydrating or firming massages to special product combinations such as White Caviar and Skin Caviar treatments.
White Caviar Phenomenal Glass Skin Facial: a step up from the signature, this facial brings together cryotherapy, lymphatic drainage, and La Prairie’s White Caviar collection, with a focus on anti-aging and a smoother, more radiant complexion. The 90-minute option also includes ultrasonic cleansing and LED light therapy, and the ultrasonic device improves product penetration, driving active ingredients deeper into the skin.
La Prairie Custom Massage: 30, 60, or 90 minutes of personalized pressure, specific oils, and massage techniques.
La Prairie Refining Body Exfoliation: an hour-long service that begins with a full-body scrub using a custom blend of La Prairie’s Cashmere Body Cream and other La Prairie body care products, followed by the application of a nourishing body lotion.
Webb writes that while the elevated mindset may be what defines the partnership most, the range of spa services is built to fit every guest. Sanchez agrees, saying that while the treatments are elevated, the main focus is making sure guests leave feeling restored, refreshed, and confident in their skin — each treatment designed to deliver results, but also to offer a moment of calm and indulgence, whether that is a signature facial or a relaxing massage.

My Experience
During her stay, Webb tried both the 90-minute White Caviar Phenomenal Glass Skin Facial and an hour-long custom massage.
The massage was much-needed, she says, as her body has definitely been feeling the stress of her busy life lately. She was grateful for the deep pressure, which helped ease the tightness in her back and shoulders, while the warm oil was a luxurious addition.

As for the facial, Webb says she sees why the White Caviar facial is the star of the show — it was definitely one of the most luxurious experiences she has had. Her esthetician did lots of extractions, then calmed and brightened her skin with LED light therapy and encouraged lymphatic drainage with a Fire & Ice Depuffing Wand, leaving her with a “glass skin” finish and further confirmation that her complexion has expensive taste.
On the techniques themselves, Sanchez explains that cryotherapy and lymphatic drainage massage amplify the facial’s effects by calming inflammation and promoting circulation. They also help with depuffing and enhancing the skin’s natural glow, she says, leaving skin looking lifted and refreshed.

Final Thoughts
The limited St. Regis spa pop-up is well worth your while if you are Miami-based or planning a getaway, Webb says, and the products are well worth trying even if you cannot make the trip.
She especially loves the eye serum, which helps her pretend she has been getting better sleep — yet never overdoes it. Both the White Caviar Light Infusion Eye Serum and the Cashmere Body Cream are investments, but they are so rich and luxurious, she says, that you feel as though you are getting your money’s worth.
You really cannot go wrong here if a high-end beauty upgrade is in the cards for you this spring, whether you are looking to add a touch of je ne sais quoi to your routine. And if you are lucky enough to make it to the spa pop-up? You will be blown away.
