How to send a copyright notice

If you believe that material published on DBS Guy infringes your copyright or other ownership rights, email us at hello@dbsguy.com with the subject line Copyright Notice, and include the following:

Your full name and contact details, including an email address we can reply to
A description of the work you believe has been infringed, with a link to the original if one exists
The exact URL of the page on DBS Guy where the material appears
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent, or the law
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act on their behalf

Please send one notice per page. Notices that do not identify a specific URL are difficult to act on, and we may have to come back to you for it.

What happens next

We acknowledge every notice we receive.
We review the claim and check the material in question.
Where a claim is valid, we remove or replace the material. If you would prefer a credit and a link instead of removal, tell us in your notice and we will consider that first.
We aim to complete this within a few working days of receiving a complete notice.

If you believe we removed something by mistake

If material you own or are licensed to use was removed from this site in error, email us at hello@dbsguy.com with the page URL, a description of what was removed, and an explanation of why you believe the removal was a mistake. We will review it and restore the material if the claim does not hold.

Repeat infringement

Where we find that material has been added to this site in breach of someone else’s rights, we remove it and review how it got there, so the same thing does not happen again.

The articles published on DBS Guy are written for this site. If you would like to quote, reference, or republish any part of our content, email us first at hello@dbsguy.com. A short quote with a visible link back to the original page is usually fine, and we are happy to say yes to reasonable requests.
