Your Guide to Shopping the Sephora Spring Savings Event
Spring has sprung and that means that it’s time for the Sephora spring savings event.
The Sephora savings event runs from Friday, April 4th through Monday, April 14th with Rouge members getting access from the first day of the sale.
VIB and Insider members can start shopping on April 8th with 15% and 10% discounts, respectively.
I’m sure you’ll encounter a lot of Sephora sale content but I did feel compelled to share my own list of tried-and-tested products that I truly love and can confidently recommend to you.
As you probably already know, I was a magazine editor for years and have been creating beauty content online for almost a decade.
I test dozens of products every single month for work and really make the effort to track which products get results.

To spice things up a bit, I’m assigning super specific superlatives to each of the products below and also sharing why I see the value in each product.

Overnight mask that will make your skin plump and luscious
Laneige Bouncy + Firm Radiance Boosting Sleeping Mask, $36
If you search Laneige on my blog, you’ll see that I’ve been raving about this brand for years and that’s because when it comes to hydration they are the experts. This sleeping mask contains a peony and collagen complex that helps to revitalize and visibly firm the skin and I can confirm that my skin wakes up looking plump and radiant in the morning after use.
Vitamin C Serum that’s actually worth the money
Sunday Riley 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum, $85
I’ll just say it—this one is not cheap. But when it comes to an ingredient like vitamin C, especially at this potency, I would always be willing to spend more. Plus, this serum also contains AHA and retinol so it’s really a triple whammy product. It has a slight, very natural citrus scent that I personally love (not like some of those artificial citrus scents). I love this serum in my morning skincare routine.
Mini facial in a travel-friendly pouch that takes 5 minutes
Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Peel Pads, $92
So Lindsay Silberman was the first one to introduce me to this product and now I think I may be its second biggest fan. These peel pads always save the day when I need to press the reset button on my skin. It comes out to less than $3 a treatment and I only use them as needed. They also make Ultra Gentle and Extra Strength versions of this product, so they may be worth checking out depending on your skin type.
A giant tub of cream moisturizer that works on all skin types
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, $38
One of my biggest skincare pet peeves is when a product that’s the size of my pinky finger is priced at $150. If that annoys you too, let me introduce you to one of the best values in skincare: the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I use this moisturizer all throughout the winter months and I almost never use up the whole jar before the season ends. This product is $38, but you get 6 oz., which in my eyes is a very fair price. The best part? It’s effective and it works for all skin types, even sensitive skin.
When you’re in desperate need of a self-care moment
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Detox Hydra Gel Eye Patches, $55
If you’re looking for a pocket of 15 minutes in the day to reset and take some time for yourself, may I suggest accompanying it with these soothing eye patches? You get 30 treatments in this jar which comes out to less than $2 for each pair of eye masks (and the jar packaging is much more eco-friendly than the individually packaged eye masks.) I love that this feels like the 2025 version of actually putting cucumber slices on your eyes, with less mess and better results.

Priming moisturizer that makes base products look flawless
Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Moisturizer & Primer, $25
Do you struggle to figure out the perfect last step in a morning skincare routine before applying makeup? I have come to love the Bobbi Brown Face Base for this exactly. It’s a priming moisturizer meaning it tackles two steps at once and I loooove how my base products look layered on top of this. Worth noting: it’s a thicker cream than other priming moisturizers I’ve tried so if you tend to be more oily this may not be for you. Also, I have the mini size and I’ve barely made a dent in it because a little goes a long way so I’d start with that size.
The perfect medium-coverage foundation in 32 shades
Glossier Stretch Fluid Foundation, $34
I don’t know what I expected from Glossier’s foundation, but I don’t know if I expected to love it as much as I do. The brand started from its no-makeup makeup roots has grown into introducing more full coverage products and color cosmetics. This foundation is the Goldilocks of formulas for me because it’s not too light and not too heavy. Plus with 32 shades to choose from, you can find the best fit for you.
Concealer that is literally incapable of being cakey
Tower28 Swipe All Over Hydrating Serum Concealer, $22
Tower28 Beauty has long been on my radar for products like their BeachPlease cream blushes and now that I’ve discovered the serum concealer I am one happy camper. This product is so easy to use and blend and I have never once caught it caking (while testing many different primers and setting powders in the process.) I wear shade DTLA.
The best eyeshadow primer (from someone who tested 15)
Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Eyeshadow & Concealer Primer, $25
True story: I tested 15 of the “best” eyeshadow primers on the market for a recent Byrdie piece and this was the one that came out on top. I love that it’s multi-functional and you can use it for both eyeshadow as well as concealer prep. It’s a super lightweight and non-greasy formula that helps eyeshadow last all day.
Instant brow lamination at home
Anastasia Beverly Hills Extreme Hold Laminated-Look Sculpting Eyebrow Wax, $26
I’ve tried many a brow product over the years but it took me way too long to try a product from the brow experts! Now that I have, I can see why it’s the crowd favorite. If you love the laminated effect and want your brows to stay in place all day long, grab this brow wax and a clean spoolie to apply with.
Setting spray to use when you need makeup that won’t budge
One/Size On ‘Til Dawn Setting Spray, $32
I have had the pleasure of being on the One/Size PR list for a few months and I’ve tried lots of fun stuff from the brand but the setting spray has to take the cake. I love the way it applies, almost like an aerosol spray with a super thin mist rather than a Windex bottle that splashes globs of water as you spray.
Sephora Sale Hair Picks
No-fuss, quick and easy hair mask that only takes 60 seconds
amika Flash Instant Shine Mask, $30
One thing about me is I love a hair mask. Another thing about me is I will always forget to do a hair mask until the very end of a shower and end up turning into a prune if it’s one that I have to leave on for 5 minutes. That’s why this amika Flash Instant Shine Mask does the trick for me—apply and wash out after 60 seconds to add shine and soften hair.
A clarifying multi-purpose scrub that smells incredible
Ouai Cleansing Scalp & Body Sugar Scrub, $40
Some scalp scrubs are too harsh, but this one is so soft and I love that you can use it as a body scrub too. From Jen Atkin’s brand the Ouai, this is one of those products that feels like I’m giving myself a luxe little spa upgrade when I shower. It smells incredible and a little does go a long way so a tub should last you for quite a while.
Hairspray that will make your hair shiny AF
davines this is a shimmering mist, $38
Got frizz? For the finishing touch, look no further than this shine spray from davines. I think I’m on my third bottle of this and it’s because it delivers that “just left the salon” kind of shimmer and shine to your hair especially after a blow out or styling with heat tools. I also like that I don’t need a ton and that it truly leaves my hair looking shiny and not greasy—thank goodness.
The ultimate growth hack for hair
Act + Acre Stem Cell Grow Complex Cold-Pressed Scalp Serum, $55
Everyone is on their hair growth journey, and I trust scalp-focused brand Act + Acre most when it comes to stimulating growth. Powered by 2% Apple Stem Cells, this scalp serum is clinically proven to reduce hair shedding while promoting thicker, fuller-looking hair. This product protects follicles from damage and helps the scalp stay hydrated.

dae Styling Wand, $18
This Styling Wand has me convinced that I’ll never have another flyaway again. I do currently like and use the Tigi Bed Head Wax Stick but I think this might be a more flexible solution and require less effort to wash out.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Eye Masks, $24
I’ll admit my curiosity peaked when I saw that Summer Fridays has finally released eye masks as part of their Jet Lag line! Their Jet Lag overnight mask became an instant hit when it was first released (I’m a fan, I just haven’t had a need to repurchase over the years since I’ve been gifted similar products) but I am curious how their eye masks differ. They sell them in a pack of 6 so I think that’s a great way to test drive these.
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleansing Balm, $24
As you probably know, I am an OG fan of Glossier and have a whole section on my blog reviewing products from the brand. I am so excited that they’ve recently dropped this Cleansing Balm for a few reasons. 1, I’ve always said that I wish Milky Jelly came in a larger size and looks like great value for the price. 2. This would be perfect for the shower since it’s in a tube. 3. I need to feel the texture, okay? The curiosity is killing me.
Laneige Glaze Craze Lip Tint, $22
I’m not going to lie—Laneige crushed the marketing with this one and I don’t know a ton about the formula of this product, but it just keeps popping into my mind. I need to try the applicator, I love all of the shades…I’m here for this new addition to the lineup is what I’m saying.
Milk Makeup Cooling Water Serum Stick, $29
As the weather warms up, I’m always here for a soothing and cooling skincare product. My ice roller is in constant rotation, I’m putting my under eye masks in the fridge and something tells me that this would be an amazing addition to my morning routine. I have the Cooling Water Jelly Blushes and those are even cooling without refrigeration, so I would expect this product to behave similarly.
Too Faced Ribbon Wrapped Extreme Length Tubing Mascara, $29
I was influenced by this reel that Samantha Randazzo posted and was convinced that I need this mascara in my life. I’ll let you watch it, the results speak for themselves.
Make Up For Ever Artist Wear Lip Liner in Wherever Walnut, $24
I’d honestly try any of the brown shades of lip liners from Make Up For Ever but it seems that Wherever Walnut is the one that is constantly recommended by girls on my FYP so I will blindly follow this universal rec so I can see for myself.
Merit Flush Balm Cream Blush in Archival, $30
I really don’t need another blush, but the internet has me convinced I need to try these from Merit. They just dropped 5 new shades, one of them being Archival, which is listed as a cool mauve. I wasn’t aware I was even a cool mauve blush person but I recently tried the new Tower28 matte powder blushes and my favorite shade Samo Spritzer is a very similar color to this. So I need the cream equivalent to the powder right? Someone talk me out of this!!
